I CHECK MY CASE STATUS EVERY WEEK...ON USCIS AND IT STAYS AT INITAL REVIEW ...DIEING TO BE WITH MY HUSBAND :( ...IS THERE ANYBODY WITH A CASE LIKE ME

You are not alone. We filed May 2 and received our NOA2 May 8, but until now still on initial review? When is your NOA 1?

If you received NOA2 on May 8, then your service center just didn't update the online system. Give them a call and see if they've transferred your file to NVC.

 

IR-1 Visa Timeline (Service Center: Vermont)

Passport Timeline (Submitted at USPS, Standard Processing, Standard Delivery, Locator number: 51) & SSA Update & Naturalization Certificate Receipt

 

03/23/2022: Application for passport submitted at USPS facility under standard processing.

04/04/2022: Status changed to “The U.S. Department of State has received your application for your passport book on 04/04/2022. We're now reviewing your application and supporting documents...Your application locator number is 51*******.”

04/04/2022: Check for passport cashed.

05/03/2022: Status changed to "The U.S. Department of State approved your application for your passport book. We're now printing your passport book and preparing to give it to you. You should receive your passport book on or around 05/09/2022."

05/05/2022: Passport Received.

05/09/2022: SSA Citizenship Status Updated.

05/25/2022: Naturalization Certificate received in mail.

Sorry I made a mistake, We received NOA1 on May 8 not NOA2.

All May filers are different.

We are a May filer and we spoke to a Tier 2 Supervisor. Apparently we are not going to receive our NOA2 until at least mid-January!! :wacko:

Try calling USCIS and filing a service request. My case was not processed till I filed two service requests and till I got my congressman involved. It took me 202 days for an approval! Try calling USCIS and try getting your congressman involved. Good luck!
