hello VJ members :) so...maybe someone could help us out...

we filed the i130 and got noa 1 on 10.02 ...nothing since...so here's the rub : i would like to surprise my wife and pay for a trip for her to Romania since she's not working in the states right now ...should we wait for the noa 2 or can the nvc stage be done from abroad? (her dad already offered to help with the AOS ..and i sent my IV pack stuff to him ,also i could appoint him the choice of agent right?)i guess they could prepare the aos package now with joint sponsor and her dad could file at nvc....i hope!! thank you and i would appreciate any advice :)

The US citizen may travel at anytime.

You filed in October, you stil have a bit of a wait.

However, prepare what you need to and have her bring the documents.

good luck

I mean it's probably better to send the packet from the US if possible just because it takes less time in the mail but it doesn't really matter.

thank you for the advice :) i guess we'll wait...also yesterday there was an update on the status case on the uscis site ..so it has been touched!!i could see the status online all along and this is the first update since noa1.still initial review but sooo hoping this "touch" is a good thing!!!
