Expedite question

I called the military help line today and requested an expedite due to my deployment tempo-band coming up in April. I already provided them a letter from my commander, copy of my mil id, and proof of service letter with the original petition package.

So I called today to ask about the expedite. They took down all of my info that was already included in my package, but then at the end gave me a referral number and a "target date". I assumed the target date would be their goal of answering my expedite request...but a couple mins after hanging up I thought that maybe that means the expedite is approved and that's the date they will approve the petition by.

Kicking myself for not asking first before hanging up...

Anyway, anyone else that received an expedite; was your package approved around the time of your "target date", or did it still take a while?

We were told it would take 2 weeks to process the expedite, and when we checked online, our expedite was approved on that date.

If you are missing any information in your application, you will get a request for evidence regardless of your expedite.
