K-1 case not showing up online

Hello everyone,

I am new to this forum.

A very quick question. I filed for my fiance's I-129f in November this year and got a receipt.

However, when I try to pull my case online, it says search not found.

Is that normal, that I-129f visas do NOT show up online immediately?

Is there an easy way I can reach a live person on the 1-800 number?

I tried several times, but every option seems to be only have automated replies.

Any help will be appreciated.

It is normal. The online system is unreliable and not connected to or reflective of the real processing happening. Even if it was working for you, it would just sit there for 5-6 months and then turn approved. Not too exciting.

It might show up online later, or if not, no big deal. You'll still get the letters in the mail (whoever is the USC).

It seems to be a lot more unreliable of late than in the past, however it should never be depended on and yes, don't worry about it.

I also filed in November and called USCIS last week just to check things out. They said there are big delays in cases being posted online and that if we still don't see it within 45 days of receiving the NOA1 then contact them again.

Edit: TO talk to a real person you need to choose the option that you don't know or lost your case number. I bet you tried typing in the case number over the phone and it said not found. Same with me. That's because we just haven't been entered into the system yet even though our packets were received.
