Also, I cant find my case number yet online. I got my NOAs last week Dec 5th. I called USCIS and they told me to call back if I dont see it in 30 days.

Walkin does that work? If so?

By the way, I am happy I got my Interview Letter today.

About to check status, I wasn't able to check the status of my application thru the USCIS website, although you can register for a profile and add your receipt number and then you will be able to check the last update date of your application, in the same page you could change settings to add or remove notifications through cellphone or email address.

Don't hold your breath for the online status, all 3 numbers I got last month don't work.

As for walkins it really depends on the office, how many people are there now, you reason for the walkin, the mood of the manager. Some people get in right then, I personally tried a walk in and had my appointment rescheduled 2 weeks earlier. Good luck!

Biometrics completed today, 3 weeks early.. We showed up at 1000am and it was very crowded. While waiting to talk to someone, one of the employees was very angry at a few people for not listening and a pen went flying into tge office. I thought no way are they going to let us in early. We went up and the gentleman looked at our paperwork and said you're here on the wrong day. I said we will be out of town on that date and we were trying a walk-in. He informed us they don't do walk-ins anymore. So we just stood there silent. He looked around then said he would have to reschedule us. I told him I would have to check my calander at home. Then we were silent, him checking tge long line of people. Then he asked if we had something to do in town and if we could come back between 2 and 3pm. We said absolutely we can.

Went back at 230pm, person in line in front of us had a Monday date and he said no, come back on monday. Then we talked to the person who was very aggrevated in the morning.. Asked the gentleman if he was going to let us go and he said yes, then everything was very pleasant. Must of been my wifes smile, she brings out the best.... After that, done in 10 minutes. Now starts the waiting game.
