On December 10, 2012, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Congratulations!!! Early Christmas presents for some of us!

FWIW - you're the first filer we've read about that got pegged to Dallas and have an approval. hamigirl is gonna be all over you in a bit, I'm a thinking so...

lol Hamigirl has been drowned with final exams so she can get her graduation groove on tomorrow :D But yes now I am all over it :D I am so happy for you and my NOA1 date is Sept 17 so I am praying for an approval soon too!!!!! :dance:

Truth be told, I contacted my Congressman. Dallas had finished processing their 130 apps for September with 0 pending. So my app was just sitting on the desk. If it wasnt for his inquiry it would have still been on the desk collecting dust.

They can't be done with Sept cause I am still here :( May I ask who the congressman was you contacted?

It depends on your local area. I sent an email to my Congressman. You have to verify your zip code first because they want to make sure you are in their area of coverage. Mine is Congressman Randy Neugebauer.

Good luck! I sent almost two pages. Explaining my case, my feelings and the unfairness involved in this process and how damaging it is to our lives. It is especially hard when you have been with someone every single day and night and then abruptly separate. My email contained no anger, but it showed my hurt emotions.

Did your notice say for sure it is in Dallas? I was told for the longest my case was at NBC, I was told it would go back to California and i was told it might go to Dallas for an interview but they were not sure. It could very well not be in Dallas. Your Congressmans office can find out for you for sure.
