I called the NVC today and spoke to a woman named "Peggy". I was told that my process was completed yesterday. It took the NVC exactly one week to process my AOS and the same to process my IV. A total of two weeks in processing time. The woman said that they were in the process of scheduling my interview and that I would be informed when the appointment was made. I asked how long it would take to receive a letter stating that the NVC was finished with my application and she said that there was no time frame. I asked for a ball park figure and she said that she did not know, but that I should probably hear something in about 10 business days.

Is this normal? I would feel better if I received an email and/or letter stating that my AOS and IV were both approved and that they were going to schedule an interview for me and my wife. I guess that I am back to waiting. Again...........

One week for each pack is actually pretty fast compared to recent NVC processing, there is a thread in the IR forum for people going through NVC, although at this point you are almost done, and waiting for interview, interviews are actually being assinged for many countries during this week. I am also waiting on appt and hope to hear something in about 2-3 days.

Curious does anyone know how to find out where to file paperwork...I live in New Mexico.

Yes, I know how to find out.

Ask me in chat sometime, I'll tell you !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
