I just spent the last 45 minutes looking for a third time today and as I stood in the livingroom stumped and ready to give up... I looked at the couch and realized I hadnt looked there yet.

After fighting to remove the cushions ( this thing is falling apart and wires always entangle themselves in the cushion) I finally got one off which revealed my rings sitting in the giant hole in the center of the couch! I am officially happy again. Woohoo!!!!

Great news! YAY!

Glad you found them! I made a little crocheted basket to keep mine. I normally just take them off when I cook and I've always been afraid I'd misplace them.

My little basket was the perfect solution! I should make you one!

I actually have an actual real legitly sold-as ring holder.

It has a suction cup on on the bottom and a magnet in the middle of it to keep them on there.

But I take them off all over the place, so it's unrealistic. I'm going to chalk this up to a fluke.

Yaaay....glad you found them!!!

Isn't it strange.... when we lose something...and look for it in the same place over and over again....and actually expect it to be there on the 3rd or 4th look??

or.... is it just me???

It's not just you.

I looked on the coffee table, my desk, the bathroom sink, and kitchen counter more times than I care to admit.

Those are the only places I've ever put them (except apparently on my lap now) so I kept thinking

"c'mon I'm sure they just slid under something and I'm not seeing them"

I misplaced my wedding band last week, it is a horrible feeling. My husband was like yours and said "don't worry we will just buy a new one" I said to him I don't want a new one, it has sentimental value. Needless to say after searching everywhere, even the trash like you did, I finally found it in a very unlikely place.

LOL my story exactly.

Except, while the couch SEEMS like a very likely place, it was very UNLIKELY for me because I never put them on my lap, that's just silly. I guess I was just being silly at the moment.

so, when i come in from farming, i strip down on the mud porch.

First thing? my hat comes off, I place it upside down.

INSIDE THE HAT goes all the contents of my pockets and my rings

I always know where my stuff is, it's inside the hat !

Perhaps you could adopt something similar ?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Great! Wow! If my wife lost her rings I would be livid. lol. I'm SO glad you found them! I think my wife lost her diamond earrings, because I don't remember her wearing them in a while. And she used to love wearing them. Maybe she's just scared to lose them.

PS - when I lose something important it always happens the way you posted. It's always when I give up looking that I think to myself, well I haven't tried such and such a place, and the thing always ends up being there.
