Hi Everyone,

My fiancee and I are waiting for our NOA2. She has been living here in Australia with me for the past five months. I have been working here but she quit her job to in the US to come over here with me while we wait for our approval.

Due to the fact that she no longer has a job she obviously cannot sponsor me. Her father is in a position to so. I just wanted to find out the rules as to who can sponsor (will her father be allowed to sponsor me) and if so what kind of forms will he need to submit? He works as an attorney and has quite a few assets etc...

Any advice on this would be great.

Thanks guys!

David

He can co-sponsor. They both will fill out the I-134 and provide the supporting documents, tax transcripts are easy to get and free or copies of tax filing and w-2s, paystubs, letter of employment, etc.

Even though she is not working they will still want her papers.
