tourist visa application will it affect the k1 petition?

hi, so we have our NOA 1 already. still waiting for NOA 2 which may be in April or beyond April next year depending on the pace of the VSC. My fiance wants to try his luck applying for a tourist visa for the US while our petition is in progress. will this affect our petition if he does apply for a tourist visa? he had been here before in 2011 for 6 months on humanitarian parole and went back home in time before his visa expired. we just need some feedback from you guys before he can actually apply for a tourist visa sometime in january. he does have a job and he is really needed by his company as a marketing officer. in fact, their company is quite busy during the first quarter of the year due to annual physical check ups of different companies which are their clients and which are my fiance's accounts. he has been denied tourist visas before he had been approved for the humanitarian parole. thank you for any suggestions or advice you could give us at this time.

Applying for a tourist visa will no affect on your I-129f petition.

It will be hard to get a tourist visa, due to a love interest in the States. He needs to show good ties to the Phillipines, in order to have any chance of getting a US tourist visa.

thanks! so we were planning to have a copy of the i129 packet, NOA1 letter, and also a letter from his company certifying that he is scheduled for a vacation and is expected to return on a specific date. and it's just best to be honest about the nature of his visit, and emphasize that he knows we're not supposed to get married during this visit, but we will get married when the k1 visa petition is approved and he has that visa in his hands. isn't it disappointing that due to a lot of people who have committed fraud, people who are genuinely in love can't be together even for just a short time? oh well he'll just try it once and see what happens. i really don't have high expectations, but i can't stop him from doing this. que sera sera.
