Hey guys. Submitted the I-485 for my husband on June 12, this year. He came from Argentina on a K-1 visa. Everything went fine until we got a stupid RFE for a Birth Certificate translation. We resubmitted it and they received it on August 2. Ever since then, nothing. No movement from the NBC. As far as I understand, The NBC is helping with the overflow from the CSC right? I submitted a special request a few weeks ago, blah blah blah wait 60 more days... are they ever going to get to us?? I called some kid again tonight and he told us we were supposed to be processed at our local office (to which I said, "uhhh, are you sure? Wouldn't it stay put if we don't have to be interviewed?") I know there are a lot of you out there that are having to wait longer than me - so, how do you deal with the aggravation, frustration, and the wondering if they're ever going to get to you? :blink:
