USCIS Is full of #######!

You're just figuring this out now? They will do or tell you anything to get you off the phone. Things like that should cost them their jobs, but they don't.

I know how you feel.

Just be patient though.... It's hard to do believe me! But in other posts I've read some just received theirs after the 10th month.

I don't understand why some are 3 months and others are 10 - but it happens.

Your relationship will take much more patience than waiting for the reply... Relax and enjoy the holidays!!

although my experience with the USCIS has been a great one but i still like to stand by your side.you know, USCIS is such a big deal and given that this is a country of immigrants.i feel there coordination amongst themselves is average/poor as the work load is humongous but yeah, people would expect it to be fair for all considering they are making decisions on people's lives but all we can do is wait as the book says "immigration is a privilege not a right". i hope your wait ends soon.god bless

It is because they don't have a flipping clue what is really going on in the massive USCIS beast. You think some phone rep really knows what is going on in the service centers or when your case will be finished? I would think that perhaps only the person actually reviewing your case knows that.

3/2/18  E-filed N-400 under 5 year rule

3/26/18 Biometrics

7/2019-12/2019 (Yes, 16- 21 months) Estimated time to interview MSP office.

I am not talking about the phone reps! I am talking about the second tier managers! They are downright impossible to deal with or trust.

Where do you think the phone reps go when they are promoted?

LOL!! Trust me I have had my issues with USCIS.

At the same day my fiancee caleld them twice.

One person said the NOA2 will be sent of next Friday.

The other person said that they sent it 3 weeks ago but because they sent it to a different address and the ocupants did a RTS (Return To Sender), they said she had to pay $170 for it to be sent again.

Still no word of our NOA2.

Moral of the story? Trust no one. Even the VJ timelines cannot be accurate for everyone. Try and be patient your time will come :)
