The "choose life" folks tend to care about the fetus while it's in the womb, but after it's born? You're on your own, suckers!

One other very interesting fact about the so-called 'pro life' crowd is that they are the least likely to adopt unwanted babies...

Like I said, it's the unborn they want control over. After that, it's not their "problem".

'Choose death' would be more appropriate for those who support the death penalty, who ironically, are the same who support the 'choose life' plates...

I wonder if the pro-life folks would change their stance against abortion if science could find a gene that determines whether or not someone is pre-disposed to take another persons life. Might as well save a life and cut out the middle man in one fell swoop.

They probably would not understand the concept nor the implications... Rationale is not their forte.

Yeah, the word "science" tends to throw them into a frenzy.

God's word is in the Bible, not in "Physics, 9th Edition".

I would argue precisely the opposite, as would many who believe in God.

The words in the bible are man's, whereas the laws of physics have existed since the moment the universe began expanding, and shall remain until it ends.

However, the discussion at hand has to do with law in NC.

[quote name=^_^' timestamp='1355159068' post='5864078]RALEIGH, N.C. – A federal judge has ruled it is unconstitutional for North Carolina to issue pro-life license plates unless the state offers similar plates supporting abortion rights.

U.S. District Court Judge James C. Fox ruled on Friday that North Carolina cannot produce or distribute the “Choose Life” plate.

Judge Fox concluded, “The State’s offering of a Choose Life license plate in the absence of a pro-choice plate constitutes viewpoint discrimination in violation of the First Amendment.”
