I am amazed how these "new generation" of K1 petitions are cranked out in 2 months or less. I feel like those of use who got caught up in the IMBRA nonsense really paid the price. I rarely even surf this website anymore as my journey is almost over, but I still remember how excited everyone was when one lone user was approved in late July. LOL!!!

Funny how it is just a distant memory now....

I know... it was a mess! :P 10 approvals in a week was considered a miracle... hehe

OUR COMPLETE TIMELINE

Latest steps:

10/26/2006- Consulate receives case (seriously, one month to receive the case?? BS!), and packet 3 that I sent even before they had received the case.

01/02/2007- Interview!!!!!!!!!!!!! Got a 221(g)

01/23/2007- Second Interview. VISA granted!!!

01/29/2007- VISA arrived.... no envelope though. I'm gonna contact them and see what happened this time!

01/31/2007- I'll have to send them one last financial support evidence.

02/01/2007- Evidence sent

02/02/2007- Evidence received by Consulate

02/06/2007- Consulate sends envelope!

02/07/2007- Envelope received!!!

02/10/2007- Flew to the USA!!!!!!

04/17/2007- Wedding day!!!

:unsure: I understand what you're saying... but I'm just past 90 days (which to you IMBRA filers is nothing).. but based on the rate of approvals of people who filed after me, and since I used the new forms and I haven't gotten any RFE's, then it might be that I'm going to have to wait for awhile... for no apparent reason other than CSC's method of not approving cases in any kind of order.

Don't be discouraged. I know there are are lot of late august filers getting approved, but everey case takes a differrenet amount of time to process (verifyinng information, identification ect,) I am sure you will hear something soon. There are still many july and august filers who also used the new form waiting for their NOA2. (F)

...once again waiting

1 September 2009 (just over 5 months) Approved and card production ordered.
