My husband had his interview. After the interview, he received the refusal sheet, no items were marked as additional evidence being needed. The interviewer told him that she believed in our relationship and that in 3-6 weeks his number would appear for him to send his passport in again. I asked him if he was given any reason for the refusal, the response he was provided was that they needed to check up on one more thing. Has this happened to anyone else? What was the outcome? Any insight from anyone as to what they might possibly be looking into since they said we provided all evidence they needed and that they believed in our marital relationship?

I got the same kind of refusal sheet with nothing mark other than administrative process. I have been in AP for 10 weeks now. As per my embassy, its routine administrative process.

06/18/2012: NOA2 in email

06/23/2012: NOA2 in hand

07/09/2012: NVC received

07/26/2012: Case number/IIN - wrong embassy..grrrr

07/30/2012: New Case number

07/30/2012: AOS bill

07/31/2012: AOS bill shows PAID

08/01/2012: AOS package sent

08/02/2012: AOS package delivered

08/02/2012: DS-3032 accepted

08/03/2012: IV bill

08/06/2012: IV bill shows PAID

08/06/2012: IV package sent0

You visited your husband 7 times and they are still questioning things? I have only visited Turkey once.. Did you do this alone or are you using a lawyer?

12/3/2012 - I-130 delivered to Chicago 5/20/15: mailed I-751 package to California office
12/4/2012 - NOA1 NBC (Missouri Service Center MSC) 5/22/15: Date on NOA1
12/6/2012 - Check cashed 8/26/15: Bio appointment

12/8/2012 - Received paper NOA1 10/06/15: Received Email card was being processed
12/20/2012 - Case number showed up on USCIS website
1/29/2013 - Called USCIS and case is still at NBC
2/8/2013 - Received an Email that we were approved on 2/7/13
3/5/2013 - Told file may have been "misplaced" to email NOA2 to NCVresearch
3/7/2013 - ISO at the USCIS opened a service request to try to track down
if and when the file was shipped. Should hear something before 3/26 ( so she said)

i visited my fiance 13 times, stay 3 months each, and they put me in AP for almost 6 weeks, the only red flag that i have is age gap.

How much of a age gap causes a red flag? I am 7 years older than my husband.

You visited your husband 7 times and they are still questioning things? I have only visited Turkey once.. Did you do this alone or are you using a lawyer?

No we did this alone, we did not use a lawyer

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Yes, it happeneded to me and serdar. You can read my review about his interview after 4 months they called him. I told you, don't worry they will give him the visa.
