Hi Friends,

I had H1B visa stamping on recently at hyderabad consulate.VO issued me 221(g) white form indicating that my application requires additional administrative processing before final decision can be made.Later I got call from the consulate requesting me to provide Contract Agreement or SOW for a Client(specifically for this Client) that I'm presently working.

When I requested my company to provide me these documents for the client I'm working on. got to know from my company that it hasn't signed a contract with client for a while and have basically been supporting them pro bono.

and gave me a option of providing other contracts for the clients which I worked previously for the company.

What should I ask my company if there is not contract with the client for a while?

can I ask a Letter from the client stating that I'm working for them on pro bono basis and any supported documents .

Thanks for the help

1)I personally do not have any solution for this thread.

2)Seems as if your company and the client are defrauding both the Governments.

3)Getting a letter from the Client stating that your company is working them for free is only gonna raise eyebrows at the consulate.

4)i feel sorry for your situation.

5)As commonly said, never do Pro-bono work for a profit-making organization.

6)I hope the consulate let you through.good luck

Where is the Lawyer in all of this?

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
