Ohhh it sounds like our husbands would get along just fine doing nothing with no one and not even talking to each other.

Oh they'd talk to each other, just through Vent even though they're sitting next to each other on the computer gaming :S

Nope! My husband won't even go that far.

He mutes the mic on every game.

People didn't hear his voice on WoW for over a year when they suddenly realized he was not in fact a woman, but a man.

Way way way back in the day before I had real responsibilities, I'd sit in vent and talk all night. Then it is always like "zomgz it is a girl."

I wish my husband would STFU when he plays COD. Every 6th sentence is "for satan", which is a swear in Danish. There is nothing more irritating than his booming voice yabbering away in Danish to his friends. Between that and my daughter, I never get a thought in edgewise. :girlwerewolf2xn:

The grass is always greener, am I right?

My husband talks a lot to ME. Just to no one else.

I'm not a big talker.

So much, in fact, that when I have to go back to the office, I end up with sore vocal cords because I have to talk to people all day.

I would much rather work at home in silence.

I vote for indoor paintball.

If you don't like that one, can shift to body painting using airbrush rig.

Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Haha this happened to me too except it was "you're a chick? You're Australian? You're who's wife?" lol.

You could try painting a mural on one of the walls of the apartment, or all of them (after getting permission to paint of course).

What do you guys do for fun with your significant others?

My husband and I sometimes will read the same book and get into discussions about it. This carries the risk of him going off into philisophical monologues, sadly.

~snore~

Then I launch into my other favorite couples hobby... trying to fing new ways to annoy him.

You could read the divorce/dissolution materials in both Canada and the USA together. It would not only be free, but very practical for when you apply.

Are you intentionally being a jerk?

Well... I can chime in with things my husband and I do as "hobbies." I'm not sure I really consider it hobbies, more like day-to-day life. We have lived together almost since we first met, considering I flew down there to visit him and stayed after I decided I didn't want to go back to the USA without him. Literally a month after we met in person, we were living together in a small apartment (that I totally despised, plus the fact that we didn't have a car.. but I digress).

We met through an online game so usually our #1 thing to do together is play video games. We have an Xbox and recently bought Skyrim so we have spent a lot of time playing that. One of us plays while the other uses the computer to find out interesting things to do in the game, etc. If we aren't doing that, we watch TV or "watch TV" while he playing League of Legends on the computer while I cross-stitch, etc. It's winter here and it's getting pretty cold, so I understand that this time of year is hard to get out of the house, so when we are at home, we do a lot of normal things like watch TV, watch movies, play with the dog, nap, cook, bake, do our projects (I like to craft so I have a lot of projects that I want to do), play games on the iPod or the Xbox, etc. We have a car so when we do go out, we go to the mall, out to eat, shopping, we have a lot of meetings and errands planning our 2nd wedding, or we just go around doing different things that seem interesting. We look up classes that we want to take or do research on schools, jobs (I'm still looking for a job! Ugh!), or places that we want to go.

You really have to make your own way with him, do things that interest him and you at the same time. My husband and I are pretty much homebodies, we really enjoy just being at home, but we are best friends as well as married to each other so we are each other's best company... we sincerely enjoy being around each other, and it has been that way since we first met. Don't get me wrong, we get into plenty of arguments but at the end of the day, no matter what we do together, we really enjoy each other.

El destino me ha unido a vos.
