Turtle Farming, at home, for fun and profit, is always a win-win.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Ugh I want to do this so bad and he originally said he would but then when I actually found a place he was like 'no thanks' wtfffff

I had 8 turtles growing up.

We found out it was illegal to own turtles under 3" long so I'm not sure that's allowed lol

Unless turtle farming is code for something I'm unaware of

And to calypso, I live in a second story apt in an old house with no yard in the middle of Canada, I rarely have much more than 20 dollars to spend every few weeks, and my husband seriously hates people. Sorry if you think I'm being difficult but you can't force me to get excited over:

• things I know my husband will hate

• things I can't do

• things it's too cold for

• things I can't afford

I'm just telling people why their idea won't work for us rather than ignoring peoples suggestions altogether. I feel like either what I'm looking for really doesn't exist or I really do need to make up some kind of new hobby that my difficult husband will enjoy.

How about people watching.

Just go to a mall and look at people. Try to figure out what they are thinking and saying and share your observations with your spouse. I never did it but I heard from others that it is quite interesting.

all can be done inside.

Honestly, it sounds like what your next hobby should be is talking with your hubby- he is either depressed or you have vastly varying interests and outlooks on live, as he seems to want to do nothing you want to do, from what you write here.

Please do try board games- there are so many different ones to try depending on what sort of thing you like! This website has some fun ones to download- I especially recommend Unexploded Cow: http://www.cheapass.com/ Another option is to go to your local library, and check if they have games you can borrow.

• 2 man silent rock band - get that PS 3 working, I am sure it has some games on there for that, or borrow a Wii from someone. With the new Wiis out for Christmas, you may be able to pick one up cheap second hand too with the Rockband game.

• indoor hang gliding - get a hammock and install it.

• silent 2 man living room football league - fussball table game?

• how to be drunk w o drinking - spin eachother around lots

• how to legally manufacture new currency - aren't you a graphic designer? Not a legal currency but you and hubby could have fun together designing a currency for "KDH Nation"

• Carpet tap dancing - get an instructive dance DVD (see library suggestion above)

Bye: Penguin

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

LOL This is actually my own fault.

I have an army of tyranids to paint but I keep forgetting my metallics in the states

I will make that my goal to remember when I go down this week.

YES. Ali is a massive Warhammer fiend. Looking forward to that all over our house

I love a guy who looks like he could be on Criminal Minds as either an agent or a killer.

Okay so your husband hates people (my husband too) and you live in Canada where it's cold and you can't do a loud activity because it'll irritate the neighbours.

A suggestion I have is zigsaw puzzles. Some of those things are ridiculously hard! My family did Where's Wally (Waldo in the US) ones at home. I have some Aussie ones I got off a fellow Aussie here in the US but haven't done them yet. Some of them are cool enough to glue and frame :)

My husband isn't a huge fan of boardgames but I did get him to play Jenga with me once or twice.

Ohhh it sounds like our husbands would get along just fine doing nothing with no one and not even talking to each other.
