it does not matter if it is k1 or cr1, the long form birth certificate is required, no exceptions

i see but i wnat inform u already filled for k1 1year before and i submit them just the sipmel certifcate bith which has my parents names and of course they did accepted it

you mean go to rabat or casaBlanca .Coz my wife plan to change her last name and have my last name .so do you think over there in usa they wll not accept our certifcate marriage or birthcertificate till its certified by the us consulat or ambassy in Morocco

Really it depends o what state your wife lives in... In Maryland where I live I had no issues adding my husbands last name to mine.... I had no issues with Social Security either... Really I only remeber going to Rabat once to do something before we got married... I don't ow how the contract got stamped... If you want I will inbox you my husband email and you can ask him... He really did most of it because the whole process was making me crazy.... Took us almost 3 months to get married...

Hello everyone Me and My wifey got married we would like know what we ahve to do next.Does Our marriage certificate have o be certified in foregin ministry In Rabat or we just need trsnalte it and send it to my wife there in Usa .another question in the future do i need just copy of birth cerificate or long birth certifcate .ty any help will be more than welcome Chukran

The green birth certificate should be fine & translate it in English. That is what I did and it was accepted...About the marriage certificate you can translate it anywhere in morocco & stamped but your wife can certified it here in USA in her bank for free...Good luck

yes you have to get the stamps from rabat and get it certified at the foreign ministries
