Hi all,

I am in the US with k1 visa and I am about to mail AOS package to the USCIS Chicago. How can I process the work permit so that I can work and earn some income?

Thanks a lot

Chalalai

Submit the I-765 with your I-485 (might as well submit I-131 too).

Agreed.

The total amount due is $1070, if you file the I-485, I-765, I-131, and I-693 together and mail to the Chicago Lockbox location. Refer to the K1/K3 AOS Guide previously mentioned for further information.

Remember that the K-1 visa expired as soon as you had your POE.

Happy trails on your immigration journey.
