Congratulations. You must be extremely happy. I am now optimistic to get my NOA2. Tired of living apart from the person that makes me happy. Good luck to all the people waiting and please continue with your patience and helping other people with your comments and experiences.

My fiance filed for us on October 15th 2012.

Case status in uscis.gov gives us the same message (Alien number has been changed).

Is this a sign that our case is in the process of being adjugated right now? Or is this normal? Does everyone who apply have their Alien numbers changed at some point in the application.

Thanks in advance.

Some say it's a sign that they are working on your case and that you'll be approved soon, some say it's an error in their system, some say it's a normal step in the process.....who knows. <_<

I think they mean you have been assigned your A#, it hasn't been changed.

Good luck!
