Part 3 I-485 membership

Hi all,

I do not understand this question "List your present and past membership in or affiliation with every organization, association, fund, foundation, party, club, society, or similar group in the United States or in other places since your 16th birthday."

I only work for non profit organization and has been membership of the church. What should I put in this part?

I thought this is pretty self-explanatory...

If you're a member of let's say Country Club, political party, environmental organization (Greenpeace, Sierra Club), any professional association... you list it there.

They are not interested in your Church membership or charitable work.

Hey, I had the same question. My fiance (soon to be spouse), has been involved in various organizations (church, military training, missions, etc.) Should he put everything there, just in case? I am kind of confused about what makes something a "professional" organization.
