I have a question about the i-864 poverty limits in regards to household size. I know we count him and I, but does he also have to count my daughter (his stepdaughter?) She is not moving down with us and is staying in Canada with her father by her choice. she may one day choose to live with us, but we'll deal with that if or when the time comes.

ditto,

you aren't filing a petition for her, since she is not coming, she won't be part of your household, she won't be living with you, so you don't count her as household size

if you do file for her one day, then you will be a household of 3.

Okay thank you. He makes more than enough, I just wanted to make sure we fill out the paperwork correctly when the time comes.
