Hey guys, my mother in law filed for my Brother in law (unmarried) back in 2007 (when she was a permanent resident now a USC), i was just speaking to my wife that most of the cases in all of the service centres are of 2010 or 2012. Its a WAC receipt number. Pasting what it says in case status.

His immigration was denied back when they moved in 2006 due to him being over 21. but they filed for him again in 2007, my Mother in law is not tech savvy so i am helping them out in this. Should they call USCIS ? what do you guys think ?

No need to do anything- they are starting to process the file now, but his priority date won;t be current for over a year, maybe two depending on when in 2007 she filed, so it will be a while till anything needs to be done.

ah well, and here i was excited about it that its gonna happen soon for him. Ah well march is when they submitted the docs in 2007 so i guess he has another year or so to wait.

His mom (my mother in law) now is a USC so that changes the category to f1 doesnt it.
