We were married March 17th, 2012. We got our NOA for our AOS April 23rd, bio appointment May 14th, our case was transferred May 24th. Haven't heard a single word since. Is this still within normal processing times, or is there something we can do to inquire about our case?

Thank you for your time.

I recommend going for Infopass appointment... I know that time may vary but I feel this is too long.. I filed May 17th, 2011, Biometrics - June 2011.. GC approved July 28th 2011. I would say you need to look at the timeline between biometrics and interview.. should not be more then 304 months.. I am in California Service Center as well. Mine was 1 month.. I recommend inforpass

Did your wife leave a country at any time?

Now that your case has been at CSC for over 6 months you can try a service request (you can do this by phone, an infopass appointment is not necessary), and get your senator's help (they can contact CSC directly and request your file be pulled for adjudication)

How do I do a service request? I call the CSC?

Oy. I've seen that quite a few people have waited that long. Was kind of hoping that wouldn't be us :(

What number do I call to make an Infopass appointment? No, I haven't left since I arrived on my K-1 visa, everything else has gone relatively smooth until now. :|

I just checked on the processing times for the California Service Centre. It says they're processing I-485 that were submitted April 2nd 2011?? But then under classification it says employment based? That's confusing.

Call USCIS the information line. It's on the USCIS website. You can also schedule an infopass appointment via the website but it would be a waste of time. The local office doesn't have your file and can't tell you anything about it. The only thing they can do is make a service request but you can do that yourself by phone.

Your best bet is your senator's office.
