Ok I got the visa and flying out on 18th Dec to be with my wife.

I have the following documents ready , anything else please add :

1. Passport with Visa and Sealed envelope - Hand bag

2. Vaccination record and xray - Hand bag

3. What else should be carried in hand bag ?

4. How much money should i carry ?

Also I am flying from Mumbai to Frankfurt and then onto Philly US. Yes i know i could have got a direct flight from Mumbai to Newark but i had bunch of free miles on my Lufthansa the ticket cost me almost nothing. Not to mention Lufthansa gives two free checked bags. Who can beat that ?

I dont think i would need a transit visa for Germany as i have a US Visa now ? right ?

Anything else i should know about ?

1. Congratulations

2. There is nothing wrong in bringing vaccination record, x-ray with you... You may not be able to use the x-ray here but will use the vaccination record when visiting the doctor first time, they will keep it for their record.

Good luck.
