Hello Everyone!

It's my first time to post a topic on this site. I just want to share what my Fiance and I have encountered today. My Fiance have received an Appointment Letter today for K-1 visa Interview for me from US Embassy Abu Dhabi via e-mail, which he also forwarded to me, but when we check and read the letter we found out that it was not for us because the recipient's name and case number indicated on the letter is far different from my name & case number. We are really surprised, disappointed and of course worried of what had happened. We tried to contact the Embassy through their website hoping to bring this thing to their attention (both of us send an email). We couldn't call the US Embassy in Abu Dhabi right now because most of the offices in UAE are closed during Friday and I'm not so sure either if the Consular section will entertain calls during weekdays(we have tried to call their number several days back to follow up our case prior receiving the said e-mail but all our calls are just diverted to an answering machine).

I wonder if anyone of you have experienced the same thing that had happened to us. I hope someone could give me an advise on this situation.

Thank you in advance.

You have to reach them by email only, they dont accept phone calls (that's what they told me when i email them) but they do respond to your email though you can wait like 2 to 3 days they will email you back for sure.
