Hey guys we were just checking out processing times, we sent the docs to the california service center, but i am checking out their processing times and there is no mention of Us citizen filing for Spouse. Anyone know where the petition can be ?

current average time at CSC is 5 to 6 months for straight foward cases.

start getting concerned late Jan - early Feb.

However, it saying in your signature you case was transferred to Lee Summit, MO?? where is your case buddy?

According to your signature you already knew that your file was transferred: "24th August 2012 NOA1 received email and mail - petition transferred to Lee's Summit, MO."

That means that you were transferred to the National Benefits Center, and maybe to the local field office, but not necessarily.

Sorry i guess i forgot to update that, during august most of the filers were transferred to Lee's Summit MO, but later on it was updated and was sent to a USCIS office for processing. that was on the 4th of Sept, since then there is no update. our Receipt is WAC so i am trying to figure out where it exactly is.

well then its simple. your petition is at local office. have you called and ask about the exact location of your petition? if not call and ask to inquire which field office is handling your petition. It should be in the city your wife resides in USA.

yeah i guess we will do that today, She is from Houston, so that is her local field office, but i checked online right now on uscis and they arent processing any I130 petitions, kinda confusing.

it's obviously in NBC. Can you still track your receipt number(USCIS)?

yeah i can, doesn't say Lees summit anymore, that status changed a long time ago. a number of us who filed in August, our petitions were sent to MO by mistake according to the USCIS, but then they were routed back to USCIS office for processing. Doesn't say who has it though.

I just checked NBC they aren't processing any I130's according to the processing times.

It doesn't say they are online. But trust me, and the rest of us with MSC#, the NBC is looking at cases and either dealing with them there, or sending them to field offices. The USC can call the number, get a tier 2 human (ISO) and find out where the case is. My husband won't... LOL He said it'll happen when it happens and to stop worrying.

Hahaha my wife is like that as well. We arent in a hurry but we keep checking just to know how long it will take, cause when we leave we will be going together which means, me wrapping up everything over here, there is still time but its better to be prepared

Anyway timezones are a hassle, so i guess we will be giving them a call to check where the Petition is right now.

Just wait for the approval or their decision. All applications sent by August 2012 in CSC are routed to NBC. We had the same situation but My husband and I got NOA2 last 29th of November. So just chillax and come what may.

If I were you, stop worrying where the petition has gone and prepare the requirements of NVC or spend time with your wife. Waiting for it or checking it everyday is stressing. I say, we didn't track it anymore. We just received the NOA2 notification unexpectedly.

Same boat as you, no more updates after Sept.4..Exactly the same, as what my hubby constantly tells me, just to wait and it will be approved at the right time..
