Hi, my wife has a Citizenship Interview coming up on Jan 23rd 2013, she has been a LPR since 1979 and has made a total of 6 trips outside the USA, they were from;

09/26/2004 until 10/13/2004= 16days

11/06/2006 until 07/01/2007= 237 days

10/23/2007 until 10/05/2008= 348 days

01/30/2009 until 01/23/2010= 360 days

07/15/2010 until 11/20/2010= 128 days

12/22/2010 until 01/15/2011= 24 days

She filied the 3 year married to a US citizen, and she is alittle woried concerning those 3 long trips she took to be with her older brother that had became very ill. I told her that those trips were taken before her qualifing time started, which is Jan 23rd 2010. (Am I right?) And she is concerned that she can not find her OLD PASSPORT, she does have her new passport and it has her exit and entries for her qualifing time period. And one other thing is a concern of PROOF of RESIDENCE, I had lost my job due to down sizing and we moved from Kansas City to Califorina in Apr. 2012, we notified USCIS of the move, she has a Calif ID that has our current address. we have a joint bank account in Calif, she has been getting mail of course to this address, the thing is right now we are living with her cousin and not paying rent, we do give them money to help out with the utilities etc., So she is wondering if that is going to be a big deal with the IO or not.

Thanks so much for any advice in advance!!

you will need to show you filed taxes all those times out of the us get transcripts from the IRS,if you are a lpr g.c you need to be physically present in the united states for a period of at least 30 months out ofthe past 5 years.if you are lpr married to a us citizen. things move faster for you as you become eligible for citizenship. if you have physical presence in the territory of the united states for up to 18 months out of the last 3 years.an absence from the territory of the united states for over 6 months might mean that you have to start your tenure all over again.read the n-400 guide, good luck.
