So I've been calling the embassy twice a week for 5 weeks now and I email them once a week. Last Dec 4. 2012 I emailed them about the status of our K1 application and this was the reply I got today as soon as I opened my emails.

We are pleased to inform you that a fiancée (K1) nonimmigrant visa was issued to the applicant on December 4, 2012. The visa packet will be delivered to your designated address by guaranteed courier service.

Can we celebrate now? :-)

I was wondering since I called the embassy yesterday and they said it was still on administrative processing but I didnt receive this email til today and I wasnt able to asked about it when I called the embassy. So which one is right? Also I checked 2go and tracking said its invalid and also checked passportstatus and says no new status on passport. How long do you think before we could expect the passport to be on our hands?

Yup I would say it celebrate time!

Issued and printed are two different things so be a little patient, but in a few more days 2GO should be picking it up, shortly after that it will be delivered.

well, it was only on the 4th that the visa was issued.

Doesn't mean squat, as the visa still has to be put into the passport,

and the casefile bundled up for shipping,

then all sent out via 2go.

I say wait another 10 days.

Whilst yer waiting, become friends with the LOCAL 2go office, as the 2go online status thing is (mostly) broken.

Make sure the 2GO folk know to CALL the beneficiary when the package hits their local office.
