How long to get interview in Honduras

Just wondering if anyone can tell me about how long it takes to get an interview in Honduras once everything is completed at NVC. We are expecting case to be completed this month and just wondering. Any help is appreciated.

Did you file a k-1? Once we got our letter that it reached the Honduran embassy I called and e-mailed and got an interview right away!

We are applying for an IR visa (DCF). We emailed requesting the interview 10 days ago. Today they replied with a date in late Feb 2013. Some get interviews right away, others are a few months out...

We filed a petition for my stepdaughter who lives in Honduras with her birth mother. We are waiting to send a copy of her passport which we are suppose to receive monday and then we will be finished at NVC. Will I get a letter or something saying that the case is in Honduras? I didnt know we could call or email the embassy. I thought we had to wait to be contacted. I will definately do the same as you and hope for a quick interview.

yeah I got a letter to confirm that they received the case. But i actually called before I received the letter for my appointment. Sometimes the letters take awhile to arrive. Try giving them a call you wont loose anything
