why do we have soldiers over there? is there a war there???

Ever heard of a little place called Iraq? Notice how Kuwait is right next to Iraq. Might I suggest you read about the history of the region, and in particular, the First Gulf War?

You can't fly to Kuwait? You don't have to be Muslim to fly there, y'know.

dont they hate Christians there? someone in another post told me i would have to dress like a nun if i go. he told me if his family new he was a Christian they would kill him. :(

1. There are plenty of American Christians in Kuwait. We have soldiers all over there. They're not being killed.

2. It's different if a Kuwaiti converted to Christianity. But, he doesn't have to tell his parents. Plenty of muslim middle eastern men marry american christian women. If he's afraid for his life, then just don't tell them.

3. If you find wearing hijab (a headscarf) is required for your visit, it isn't the end of the world.

4. Traveling to the Middle East is an adventure. Give it a shot.

hes not going to tell his parents.

It'd suggest you do some searches on google on info of Kuwait.

I love the show Amazing Race, and this season they went to Kuwait. The teams included very pretty young women, wearing tank tops and short shorts, which I would not at all recommend wearing...but they seemed to be just fine there. But they weren't alone.

someone is not quite right here

Yeah I just checked out his/her past posts. Smells and sounds like a troll.

She is only 18, which I guess also explains not knowing why there are American troops in Kuwait. :P
