and yeah! I was in your shoes after 5.2 months! LOL! "Does .2 means 1/2 a week, 1 week, 8 days etc.???"

I went crazy too! but then shrug my shoulders and said "it will come, it's just a matter of days" :)

Hi guys! Anyone knows about CSC processing time as of this month?

Hey, I have been wondering about the same thing. (I think our timelines are quite similar) From what I see on VJ timelines....nothing is happening at CSC...standstill. :( I have decided to stop checking because it is getting a bit depressing. I shall check again after New Year's (even I do not believe that I can hold out till then as I am typing it haha).

Good luck !!!

GC received on the 28th of February, 2014 - no interview, no additional RFE's

Divorced as of September, 2014

NOA1 for ROC 14 October, 2014

Life goes on, my ex-husband is a moron.

So what you are saying is if your date goes over the 6 month mark then call and ask for a "service request" ?? Our 6 month mark was like 3 days ago but I see people with NOA1 after us getting approved

Nothing is happening at CSC? Not even moved a bit? :( It saddened me the fact that I can't celebrate holiday with my love, would be more depressing if I can't be with him on his birthday (January) or at least on Valentines.

Hehehe! Nothing we can do but wait. God bless your journey as well! :)

Trust in the Lord with all your heart

and lean not on your own understanding;

in all your ways submit to Him,
and He will make your paths straight.

It all depends on who you get on the phone. My NOA1 is June 27th and I called when I was at my 5 month mark and got a service request bc I spoke to someone while other ppl who are early June alway get denied. The guy I spoke to never even talked about the processing dates he just said wow ur over 5 months and put me on hold for a minute then told me my case has not been given to an adjudicator yet I asked him if I could get a service request and he said of course and typed one up for me.

what is a service request?

A service request is when you are out of normal processing times (usually 5 months) and you can call USCIS and ask for a service request on ur case. They type up a request and ask the service center where ur application is and why is it taking so long. When ur service center receives ur service request they are supposed to expedite ur case and check it within 2 weeks but sometimes depending on the date they are working on they just ignore the request and that is when you have to continue following up on it.
