Have you tried calling?-- it looks like you were supposed to be adjudicated beginning of november -- you might want to call -- good luck

Sooooo...

I called a month ago and was told it be completed b4 the 5 months.

I completed and online service request or "e-request"

I called last week, 1 day AFTER the 5 month date and was told I was still within the "normal time frame" and to "wait awhile longer"

I just called at 2:30pm CST and the agent assisted me with completing a service request with the CSC.

People... This has really soured me - in my profession if I'm 15 minutes late customers get irate. I am required to keep good communication with my customers as to any delays.

I'm upset more with the agent last week... And her short answer to get me off the phone...

I just want to know if I need to send more info, or what the hang-up is!!! I'll just fly to Philippines, marry her, and apply for the spousal visa if the USCIS had an issue with my integrity!

That doesn't sound like a good plan, because:

- you already waited 5 months. If you cancel the K-1 process, you loose 5 months. The spousal visa process will take even longer than the whole K-1 process.

- no need to question your integrity, your case has been sitting somewhere for 5 months. Nobody looked at it for 5 months, that's all. It is just waiting for an adjudicator to look at it. Once an adjudicator looks at it, you will have an update right after, like for every case.

A long wait doesn't mean the USCIS has been looking at the case for a long time and are debating if the relationship is legit or no. It's just that there are TONS of cases to process. Once someone at the USCIS looks at it, it's pretty-straigh forward: the case meet the requirements, it's approved, or it doesn't, and a RFE is sent. All that in less than 30 min.

Thanks for the positive outlook...

I'm just one not to sit by and let things sit for too long.

I work hard, I take great respect in the work/outcome that I do and I expect others to do the same. As well as my tax dollars are paying their wages to work on this.

I totally understand that the wait is frustrating...but we have little power on how fast our cases are processed, just because we are so many applying. If you are past the processing time, make everything you can to make things moving. Contact your congressman if the service request doesn't work. :)
