Got one of these too dated on 30 November. Received my NOA1 on the 23 of November. Going through VSC.

Although it would be nice to have a quick approval timeframe, I'm also banking on the fact that this is merely a website/systems anomaly.

Hi AP+JP my status changed back to Initial Review stating "your alien registration number was changed".

Any clue what is this mean? How is it going for you? Any update on your status?

Hey guys, trying to wake up this post again..Maybe youve seen my other post about this already..

I got NOA1 December 20th and I got the alien registration number changed on the 27th, I spoke to tier-2 and she didnt say it was an error, she said it just happens. Of course not very helpful but i asked her if it could be a problem in the system and she said definatly not. Anyone have anything new about this at all? Come on there a lot of us we got to keep eachother updated!!

Am also wondering what that means. We received our NOA1 Dec 28, 2012 and the alien registration number has changed on Jan4, 2013.

Am praying it should lead to something miraculous.

I had the same message appear so I called the service center to find out what it meant. I was told by Tier II support that it doesn't really mean anything and that our application is still being processed. She told me that if they update the file that message could be triggered.

So back to where we were before...waiting lol

well wouldnt that mean they made a mistake and i once read if they made a mistake it would be processed quickly????? I received that same message last week and just finding out about it but dont know what it means...please help us on this guys???

Submitted I 824 on Aug 14 2012. NBC sent application to USCIS Orlando ( i live in tampa ). Until i showed up there on Jan 17, they didnt know my file was there. I went again this month on 8th and found out that they forwarded the file to Application Support Center which was cross the street. Got an e mail today that " Your alien registration number has been changed "...Anybody in same situation ?

I have received same message that my alien registratation number has been changed then after 2 days I got another mail that my address relating to K1 was changed the following day I got RFE..

If I am not mistaken I got the first message last february 4, 2013 then after 2 days another message that my address has been changed.February 7 got a RFE its so crazy until now we havent yet receive our REF in mail..

Well ur not a k1 so your a bit different But congrats!

We also got the whole address has been changed Its a nice touch.

But hey an RFE can be a good thing, they are completing your case it seems. Maybe not too just saying
