Here is the answer to your question: Step # 4, is where the on-going proof will be required.

Recommendation, you need to start or continue documenting or making your points of contact with fiancee :(i.e. emails, MSN, Skype, texts, letters; postcards; etc, etc),whereby you or her can print and take to interview.

Hope this helps..

When I sent in the actual I-129f petition, I only sent in proof that we had met within the 2 year requirement. Yet, now wondering if I should have sent in proof of the ongoing relationship, or if that is only expected during the interview process.

Bring it with you to the interview in Juarez. Bring evidence that spans the whole time of your relationship, from the beginning to while waiting for the petition approval up until the interview date.

It will be somewhat hard to gather evidence of e-mails and such, since beginning of relationship. Main reason being that we have lived together, most of our relationship and did not have phone records (home phone) or communicate thru any other means, other than face to face. I do have pictures during vacations and things, as well as a receipt from dealership of vehicle purchased in both of our names (but was transferred solely in his name when we went to Mexico) and my checking account here in the US is jointly shared with my fiance in Mexico (done while he was here). But I'm wondering if any of that will help, being he was in the US illegally :( I know I will have to file a waiver I601 too, and that has me equally stressed. I then traveled with him to Mexico and lived there with his parents, for a year and a half, before returning to the states to pursue his visa. I thought all of this would be good in establishing our case, but after reading several forums, I think all of these things are actually going to hurt us more than benefit. Also, being that I was in Mexico, I was unemployed. Which I have 5 willing people to sponsor us during entire process. Yet, it looks as if with the I-134, it is possible they will not allow sponsorship. I thought I was really prepared, but now am questioning so much more. I only know that I love him with all of my heart (known him for 7 years and living together as a couple since July 2009).
