hi guys... i am about to travel on december 21st to the philippines... my greencard expired last september,but we already did file a removal of condition and done my biomitrics.. i also recieve a notice from USCIS saying my greencard is extended for a year.. my question is... DO I NEED TO WORRY ABOUT IT? OR ITS NOT THAT BIG DEAL? thank you so much...

Look up your local USCIS office and schedule an INFOPASS appointment. Bring your expired green card, valid passport and your letter from USCIS showing that it has been extended for a year. Ask for an I-551 stamp in your passport.

10/09 - Received by Manila Embassy

10/12 - Result of Sputum Test (Need to repeat)

10/16-10/18 - Repeat Sputum Test (Negative)

12/13 - Sputum Final Result (Negative)

12/21 - Interview at Embassy (Approved)

12/28 - Visa Picked Up from 2GO

12/28 - CFO

12/30 - POE (LAX)

Bring the expired greencard and tje extension letter from nvc. Also marriage certificate, specially if your last name in greencard is different from passport.

you can travel in and out of the US with the letter and expired green card. You dont need the stamp, but if you are close to USCIS office, go see if they will stamp it your passport, but it is not required.

Removal of conditions Journey

16 March 2012 Sent I-751 package from Aviano AB, Italy.

29 March 2012 Received everything back...wrong fee. thought we didn't have to pay biometrics since we were sending fingerprint cards and passport photos.

30 March 2012 Sent everything out again from Aviano AB, Italy.

10 April 2012 Check cashed

17 April 2012 Received NOA1 dated 6 April.

06 Dec 2012 Received 10 yr green card. Letter said it was approved 28 November 2012.

You can travel but there's some smartass people in immigration will tell that u can't and will hold you on line , so just explain to them

Oct. 2011-------- Filed N400

Jan. 2012 ------ Biometrics and Interviewed at same time

Jan. 17 2012 ---- Sworn In
