One Way Airline Ticket Departing Philippines

I think I remember reading somewhere that you had to purchase your airline ticket departing the Philippines in the Philippines. Is this still true, or can we purchase one online? TIA

Why would anyone prevent you from purchasing it online? A ticket is a ticket.

04/04/2022: Status changed to “The U.S. Department of State has received your application for your passport book on 04/04/2022. We're now reviewing your application and supporting documents...Your application locator number is 51*******.”

04/04/2022: Check for passport cashed.

05/03/2022: Status changed to "The U.S. Department of State approved your application for your passport book. We're now printing your passport book and preparing to give it to you. You should receive your passport book on or around 05/09/2022."

05/05/2022: Passport Received.

05/09/2022: SSA Citizenship Status Updated.

05/25/2022: Naturalization Certificate received in mail.

You can purchase on line. Years ago it was more difficult. Just know that if you book your Fiancee on PAL that they normally require a copy of your credit card when she checks on. Delta does not require.

I purchased the ticket for my wife directly from United Airlines when she was coming over here to the US on her K1 Visa. One factor we never expected until arrival at the airport was the exclusion of the Philippine Travel Tax which from my understanding is usually paid for when a ticket is purchased in PI, so just be ready to shell out around 1610Php at the airport if your ticket was purchased outside of PI. Then I also hear that PAL includes it in their ticket prices, anyways just be ready to pay for it in CASH just in case since of course they don't accept Credit Card or any other form of payment with a paper trail ;) .....

Ive seen some forums here in VJ regarding about PAL regulations if you bought your ticket online. The flight I'm looking for for my fiance will have PAL going to Shanghai China then will switch to American Airlines going to Chicago. Buying tickets at Cheapoair.com. I guess the safest thing to do is have my CC and ID scanned and let her bring them just in case they ask for them at the airport.
