Hey guys! I have a question.. So we have already submitted the IV packet to NVC and right now we are waiting for them to give us an interview date.. Now while waiting, if my wife (which is the beneficiary) moves to a new address, obviously there will be a change of address on her part.. Will there be a problem on our application? Will there be a delay?

I hope to hear from you guys! Have a nice day!

Dont worry about it, you will get an email for interview letter if you have put down your email and her's. Your wife can take a new DS230 at interview with new address but i wouldn't recommend it since you have reached your last stage which is to be given an interview date.

Just dont tell them about your new address cuz she will be moving to US anyways so why bother.

Give NVC atleast two weeks to complete your case and then another week or two to give an interview date. After you submit your DS230 to NVC, they will schedule your interview within a month. Be patient, you are done with your part

The interview appointment letter arrives via email.

She'll need to update her address at the INTERVIEW, as the VISA PACKET is sent to an address.

Hi, I was in the same situation. We moved twice during the application so there were two addresses used. We just relied on emails from USCIS and NVC and called whenever we felt that we haven't heard from them in a while. As for the visa packet, they will ask you to fill out the 2GO form of where you want it to be sent. I opted for pick up in the nearest 2GO branch.

Hi guys, what is the visa packet? is it sent to an thru email as well?

it's the mysterious brown envelope they send together with your passport after the interview. :)

“Happiness is the consequence of personal effort. You fight for it, strive for it, insist upon it, and sometimes even travel around the world looking for it. You have to participate relentlessly in the manifestations of your own blessings. And once you have achieved a state of happiness, you must never become lax about maintaining it. You must make a mighty effort to keep swimming upward into that happiness forever, to stay afloat on top of it.”

Your case was completed on Dec 6 then by last week of Dec you will get an email with an interview date. It should not be later than Dec 25. But remember, your case was completed in the month of DEC which is the busiest month due to holidays so you will need to pray that they give you the date before going on vacation. My case was completed on Sept 23, and i got an interview letter email Oct 4.
