There's nothing about an interview in their posts. And they haven't received their NOA2 yet. But we'll see what they say.

The interview is for the I-130 and has nothing to do with NOA2.

(3) people that I have seen have all had them requested or found out about the incoming request from an ISO.

NOA2 occurs when the I-130 is approved and the new I-797C form is sent. Also, there shouldn't be an interview for the I-130. Are they adjusting status?

Yes... I know what an NOA2 is...

I'm still talking about an interview prior to NOA2 for the I-130.

This is a weird situation. I've never heard of an interview before the I-130 is approved. That usually happens at the consulate stage. I think I'll watch and learn. :pop:

Strange. Anyone know why they do it? Thanks.

I just got of the phone with a Tier 2 -

My case was accepted at CSC on Aug 21. I got my transfer letter for Lee's Summit on Aug. 23. According to the lovely man I spoke with, my case was then transferred to my Local (Chicago) Office on Oct. 2.

He said "that region is taking a long time with applications." He also said that CSC is processing June 20th applications.

He also asked if I had been scheduled for an interview yet. I asked whether that was why it was sent to a local office, that I would need to be interviewed. He then asked if I had requested consular servicing or AOS. I replied consular, so then all he said was it would processed according to the requirements of consular servicing. (My husband is still in England). So I guess from that, only those applying for AOS will be called to the local for an interview?

Who knows. He said I'm still just under the 5 month processing time and to call back in a month if I have not received any updates.
