Hi everyone,

I got packet 4 today and I tried to schedule an appointment for interview but it said "there are no appointments available at this time" is it normal or should I contact Montreal consulate? Or should I keep checking the website until the date is available ?

It is normal for Montreal and they don't answer phones and rarely e-mail people back.

If you look at the Canada forum you will find threads and threads on the inability of people to schedule interviews. What has happened in the past is the K-1 applicants get each others info and message each other (via visajourney or text message) or start up a thread for when appointments open up. Keep in mind that the holiday season is almost upon us and in all likelihood the understaffed Consulate is going to have even less staff shortly.

Good luck!
