This should be a good read for you (and me actually, now you got me interested, something to do while I wait on NVC :)): http://www.visajourn...ontent/751guide

1. After POE the Conditional resident should receive his green card and social security (if checked yes on the I130), I have heard of cases where the social doesnt get created and you need to go to a socail security office to do it. He will also be able to work and get e DMV ID or license, anything a permanent resident is allowed to do, including travel :).

2. This is what the guide is about.

3. You do not need to do this since he will already be a resident when accepted through POE.

4. Just enjoy your married life with your husband, open joint account and live as a couple, during the removal of conditions sometimes evidence of a relationship is needed/asked for. Also don't forget to do taxes all residents and citizens should (for any future naturalization plans) to do annual taxes even if no income was earned.

5. The guide has all the info needed, the fees you should look up since I am not sure how old the guide is, I will also have to go through this process, but since it is a while away I have not begun the research.

Best of Luck.

Seems like a fairly simple process just needs to be done early in the 90 day period before teh CR expires.I have heard of cases where if it expires during the removal you can just go to an info pass appointment and they will make an extension.

With regards to removing of conditions, I have seen this suggested:

As you do something new that would show your ties to each other as a couple (i.e. sign up for utilities or open a joint bank account, etc) put that in a special file (or shoebox) for removing of conditions. Keep doing this throughout the wait for removal and you will have a nice little pile to show for your removing of conditions rather than scrambling to get paperwork together when the time comes.

Good luck in the rest of your journey!
