I check both sites. Plus once a week check the number close to mine on the USCIS site. I think the people getting approved in 40 to 60 days give us false hope. I am praying for somewhere between 60 and 90 days (i'm at 43 days now), but I am trying to get ready for a 5 mo wait. But my lawyer still thinks my husband could have his visa in 7 to 9 months from now. I pray he's right!!!

7-9 months is perfectly reasonable.

Even if you don't have a fast approval, maybe on the longer end, but still.

I hope so!. I had not planned to go back to Turkey till he got his visa. But I didn't think the waiting was going to be this hard. So I gave up on that idea. My boss approved my vacation request today for 10 days off in March. :D It's not much time but better than nothing. I see him everyday on skype but it's not enough.

I understand completely! I see my husband every day on skype and we talk on messenger for hours every night but it isnt the same. I know some people who are separated from their spouses and only speak to them once a week for a short phone call. I can't even imagine that! I am hoping to be able to visit my husband for a month this summer ..... I am already counting down the days!

Looks like today another December got an NOA2! That makes 2 people so far on here. Plus a Nov. 30 this week also. I checked up 400 numbers and down 300 numbers today and no one close to me has been approved.. But it gives me hope when I see dates so close to my own approved. Keeping my fingers crossed for all of us!

The person updated their timeline to show they got their NOA2 today. If you check to follow a timeline you will get an email when it's updated. I have been watching people + or - 5 days from me. So far on here there have been 2 people from Dec. If you sort the timelines by NOA2 date you will see that.

LOL, I spend a lot of time examining the timelines here and sorting and examining length of time to get the NOA2.

But I often wonder .... are the people who are getting their responses so quickly getting them that quick because they put in for an expedite or are they just lucky?

Just lucky.

There are not THAT many expedites.

And if there are, then let me be the first to try and word one for me in a way that makes it sound like I need one.
