Still nothing on ours...starting to get discouraged. We have a wedding ceremony(just for family/friends...technically already married) in England in May and were hoping to be together after that but its looking less and less likely.:(

I check at least 3 times a day! I am almost at 40 days and I have seen people approved at 40, 49, 59 days so I keep hoping I will get lucky too.. I know the chances are slim but I pray for under 3 m

Hey Guys,

My NOA1 date is Dec 19th and my timeline says that I should have been approved like 3 days back, However I still haven't heard back anything after the NOA1.

Does anyone has any input.

Did you call USCIS? You are well within the time limit, there are people waiting since AUG, so there is nothing to worry about.

Can you please share your Local field office.

You are a Dec filer, there are people waiting since AUG, so you shouldn't worry too much. Have you call USCIS?

Have you called to see where its at? Sometimes its best to call and speak to 2-3 immigration workers to know what's going on. I do not believe just one person.

You can ask them where your file is at. Is it still at the NBC or at your local office. The CSR will not be able to answer your question and will forward you to a tier 2 ISO. It does't hurt to call and it might give you a small idea of where you are at.


USCIS - 66 days ROC - 139 days from sent to approved
12/3/2012 - I-130 delivered to Chicago 5/20/15: mailed I-751 package to California office
12/4/2012 - NOA1 NBC (Missouri Service Center MSC) 5/22/15: Date on NOA1

Well based on current trends, cases are being transferred to local offices, and you wouldn't even get notified. So you wanna know where your case is and if it transferred to Local office, then which local office, and you probably wanna find out where your local office is at in terms of processing I130's to just keep track on your file. There is no problem calling them early. Sometimes it is hard to track down your file and they do get lost. So it is better to keep track from early stage.

i called USCIS after a month of filing to get info about my case. it dont hurt to call.

Talk about slow to answer. I emailed the USCIS on Feb 5 to ask where my file was. Asking if it was still at the NBC or my local office . My file was approved a few days later so I forgot about the email. I got a reply today! 54 days later. :rofl: The funny thing is it says it was sent to the NVC on 2/11 but the NVC said they didn't get it to 3/11 so I wonder where it was for 28 days.

Don't email the USCIS and expect a fast answer!! :bonk: :bonk: :bonk:

I think where your file is plays a bigger role then what month you are. There are many people from Aug still waiting. Some local offices are holding I130's and have not even started working on them. I think the lucky few that stay at the NBC get approved faster. As mine never left the NBC and was approved fast. But it also ended up getting lost before getting to the NVC. So there is no telling what will happen to your file. Your best bet it to find out where it is and go from there.

OK. I did call last week but it was a tier 1 rep who just read out loud the info I get from the web site. Should I call again and just right away ask to speak to a tier 2 person? Do I need to provide a reason? I just don't want to sound rude, like I'm going above the tier 1 person or something.

Thanks!

Tell them you want to know what office it's at or if it's at the NBC still. They will move you to a tier 2 because they will not know. Some ISO/ tier 2's are mean so be ready to insist they look deeper for you. If they say you were moved to a local office make sure you ask on what date you were transferred. Make sure you write everything down. Then call back again in a few days to see if you get the same answers.
