There are lots of people not approved. There is no real system to who is approved and when. Those of us approved were just lucky as there are still people from Sept, Oct, and Nov. that are not approved.

if and when the file was shipped. Should hear something before 3/26 ( so she said)

is the NBC starting to slow down in their proscessings???

I don't know. Have you called and spoke with an ISO and asked if your case is still at NBC? If not, it don't hurt to ask. I called USCIS after a month just to get information and found out about the address and that my case was still at NBC. Later I called and was told it was transferred to filed office end of January.

What number are you calling? When I call the customer service number on the USCIS website, I just get an automated response with no option to talk to a person? I'm just curious to see what's going on with my petition! Waiting and not knowing what's going on is the hardest part! Thank you for your help!

When you call they will ask for MSC# and if your the petitioner or beneficiary. You can just simply tell them you want to speak to an ISO or tier 2 to get more information about your case. One CSR asked if I want to leave a message or wait. Of course, I wait and it was like 20-25 minutes. Once you get to an ISO you can ask is your case still at NBC. If you are unable to get to an ISO on the first call just hang up and call again. At least knowing something is better than knowing nothing. Give it a try. Keep us updated.

The number is on your NOA1 letter. I think you press the number for case status. I recommend calling and speaking to an ISO and asking him/her is your case still at NBC or transferred. I didnt know mine was transferred till I called the 3rd time after dealing with the address error. I understand how frustrating this can be and yes patience is the key. However, it does not hurt to call and get information that you did not know. If your not satisfied with the first call response then call again. Keep us updated.

I called and asked where my file was at. If it was still at the NBC or the local office. They will try to check for you then transfer you to an ISO because they can't answer your question. I waited 45 min.

You have to go through the whole auto system 1st.

My husband filed from US and today he got the NOA2 by mail said they approved our petition and it forwarded into NVC!!:))

I'm so happy... :)

What's next? :)

Congratulations.

You can prepare all your documents for NVC. It will take time for uscis to deliver to NVC and from there time for NVC to enter your information in their system. I am still waiting for our information to be in the system. I was told 20 business days after they receive our case. Wish you the best.
