Yes - read some of my threads. USCIS changed my husband's address to America without my permission. Did the ISO tell you where your husband's address was listed as?

I changed my address in December (a week or two) after NOA1. I gave them my po box address in Los Angeles. They told me this was the address listed for my husband. I know this cannot be true because on the application (I-130) he put his abroad address and I had mine(state)address. The told me if we do not correct this mistake the embassy may not receive the papers. I just spoke with another ISO and she put in a service request to correct this (mistake that should not have happen).

That is about when I changed my address too - maybe they had a weird system glitch?

They are approving some Decembers. I know for noa1 date of 12/4 there have been 13 approved, and 2 RFE out of 912 files.. so thats like 1.4% approved ? Not a very good % .. This system makes no sense to me.

USCIS - 66 days ROC - 139 days from sent to approved
12/3/2012 - I-130 delivered to Chicago 5/20/15: mailed I-751 package to California office

1/29/2013 - Called USCIS and case is still at NBC
2/8/2013 - Received an Email that we were approved on 2/7/13
3/5/2013 - Told file may have been "misplaced" to email NOA2 to NCVresearch
3/7/2013 - ISO at the USCIS opened a service request to try to track down
if and when the file was shipped. Should hear something before 3/26 ( so she said)

NVC - 119 days NVC to Visa in hand
03/11/2013: NVC received (31 days from NOA2 at USCIS till received at NVC )
03/25/2013: NVC Case no. assigned
03/27/2013: Paid AOS fee (shows paid 3/29/13)

04/02/2013:IV Packet Delivered
04/16/2013: Case Complete (37 days from received to case complete)
04/16/2013: Received Case Complete Email

05/13/2013: NVC status "In Transit"

051/20/2013: NVC status "Ready"

That is encouraging!! Thanks!

When I sort the Immigration Timelines here at Visajourney and look at just NBC and sort by NOA1 date .... the filers that are immediately above and below me (with 1 exception) have all gotten their approvals. (Of course they are all filing from abroad). And that is so hard to see people with my exact date already approved!

And I am trying to be patient and see how many people filed before me and are still waiting for their approval and I need to "wait my turn" ... but sometimes it is so so hard!!!!

Can someone tell me why are people who filed abroad getting approvals faster than people who filed in the United States? Is that kind of backwards?

If you really must know, at least with me, there is a pressing reason that we applied to come back to America, but it appears that we weren't expedited.

I lost my mother last month. Is there a form or something I can fill out to let USCIS know of this and expedite my case? Just asking.

How would that affect your case?

I think it is probably to do with fraud.

i think it has to do with the selfish govt wanting their americans back

They don't want me back.

I think they said to themselves "Well, she is British too, let the Brits deal with her"
