I am scheduled for January 2013 in Lagos.I need the assistance and support of vjers.What should be the minimum income of my sponsor and how many months ofbank statement is required?

Do i need to fill DS-230 part 1 and 11?

what other documents do I need to present apart from birth and police certificate,affidavit of support and passport?

I need your advice VJERS!

The DS230 needs to be filled as per the instructions, make sure to only sign PART I (Part II is signed in the embassy), but all questions should be filled.

I would also bring the marriage certificate, and some additional recent proof of an ongoing relationship, chat/call records, any pics, money transfer receipts, any other shared financial statements. Better to have too much info than be short.

For the minimum income look up I-864p.

The income required depends on the family size. First of all your fiancée is the main sponsor and if there are no children she would need to make enough for a family of 2. If there isn't enough income then you need a co sponsor and that person needs to make enough for them and you and any family members they have. If they sponsored someone else that person adds to the household size. Check here Look at the poverty guides for the amounts. Use the 125% level as that is what Lagos wants. They want 3-4 years of tax statements.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
