Hi,

I have tried to reserach but not able to find exactly what I am looking for:

We just submitted the AOS and the EAD together and I called the Customer Service line to ask this question but they gave me bad information (can you believe that?! ha!) I think...

It says a medical is required..however we just had his in South Africa so I know it is good for a year but the woman at USCIS said that he did not need to send anything in to prove that since they will have it from the k-3 process (as you know it was surrended at POE at JFK..so we have no copies)..

Well i went ahead and sent a copy of the vaccination booklet we got, but now I see that the I-693 and/or the DS-3025 was needed to be sent in as well... So I assume I will get a RFE for one of those correct?

We are going to a civil surgeron today to get the vaccination record transfered to the 1-693 and I guess the ds-3025 as well. We don't have anything at all from our doctor that did the medical in South africa so is that okay???

Sorry so long and confusing but I am confused !!

in a nutshell y questions are:

We filed a k-3 and he is now here on the K-3 visa so do need to have the

I-693

DS-3025

or both???

Also what if we have nothing from the medical dr who performed the medical in South Africa?

Thanks all who can offer help!

The only thing that you could possibly need is the I693a vaccination supplement The medical is good for 1 year.... however on saying that ... most of us have just sent the stuff from our original medical (like you have).

Some have received an RFE for the vaccination supplement, some have not... I have not (as yet).... Have you had all your vaccinations?

Personally, Unless you feel like going through the hassle of getting one (and expense) Im not going to unless I get a RFE for it...

If you do decide to get one to cover your bases just make sure that you state that you do not need the full medical just the I693a and that you have your records from your overseas vaccinations so just need them copied over... unless you need extra shots of course..

I 130 & I129F (K3) and AOS info in timeline
