Hi

We just got married on Monday, I arrived from England on a K1 visa and am now starting to put together the I-485 form and other documents/ forms.

On these it asks for my Port of Entry. I flew in from Manchester via Dublin and went through US Customs and Immigration in Dublin, the I-94 and stamp are from Dublin. When I arrived in Chicago we were treated as a domestic flight and walked straight off the plane collected our luggage and away we went.

My question is: Is my port of entry Dublin or Chicago?

Thanks

Thanks A&B quick question for you, when we are sending in our I-485 it says to send in the I-94 do we send in the actual I-94 or a copy of the I-94?

Darren

We sent in a front and back photocopy of the I-94s that were in my wife and stepson's passports. CBP usually staples the I-94 to a page in the beneficiary's passport, keep it in there.

From the VJ K-1 AOS step-by-step guide:

"6. Copy of the non US Citizen Spouses valid I-94 (front and back copies)" (emphasis added)
