Do you guys think this is real? Looks like a hoax to me. Surely the world can't be THIS cruel, can it?

Sarcasm aside, this is what it boils down to.

American man, bald, big belly, has been rejected too many times trying to date in the U.S. He now looks thousands of miles away for a suitable spouse. Vietnamese girl wants Green Card as a way out of poverty, and American man wants to get laid despite his ugliness and bad breath, combined with having a housekeeper on the cheap.

The ad was created a bit amateurish, but the message is clear, and it is true in substance.

When I was new on this site I went through the wedding albums and played the "Guess the American" game. Generally it is pretty easy - if she is fatter, older, or ugly its her and if hes fatter, older, or ugly its him. Of course if it goes bad and the US citizen is an older and "undesirable" female she is the victim of an unscrupulous G.C. hound - she deserves better and is a worthy person blah blah blah.. When the US citizen is an older and "undesirable" male he is taking advantage of downtrodden girl who doesn't know what she is getting into and he is a POS that should not be trying to be with someone he doesn't deserve.

I see those two stories on here over and over and over.

This is not just about getting a G.C. When I visit Colombia, or the DR, or Mexico there are plenty of old fat locals and ex-pats with young pretty things and there is no intention of anyone moving to another country. They all have one thing in common: more money than those around them. The women with them weighed that attribute heavily and made a choice. We look down on the men but of course go to any large Dominican resort on an average weekend and witness untold numbers of "Stella getting her groove back" with the sankies and hey that's all good.

Happens here too of course but on a different scale.. Win the lottery and you become better looking.

Most of these guys just chat up the first girl on the internet that seems interested in them, and doesn't charge $4.99 per minute - there are tens of thousands of them in almost any country. Some are scammers, but the majority are just hoping to find the one guy, any guy, that will bring them to the US, for which they will be eternally grateful, at least until the women in the US set them straight.

Yes the US is a big draw for the third world especially and also a lot of first worlders fall for the hype too

I wanted my wife to live in the UK and so we moved there. It was the worst summer since the ice age and her job wasn't too good even though it was well paid, so we moved to Florida

Now its time for her to early retire but that cannot be done easily in the US - not with REAL health insurance costing 12k for a couple. couple of hundred thousand is better off in my pocket.

If Obama care drops that by a quarter then that will help, but 100% free healthcare in England is a temptation. She would do it, but needs to be near her elderly mother.

Trying to pay for healthcare and maternity and college fees in the US must be terrifying and its a good job most folk don't know any different - especially what happens when they get old.

People coming from Germany or England etc will always face a much tougher world than the one they left behind and even third worlders could face challenges in their later life - when they have something to lose

That post is worth gold.

btw they had a documentary last year of older western women...US, Canada, UK, etc... taking sex vacations in Africa in order to get it on guys old enough to be their sons or even more so...their grand sons yet there was no big bru ha over that one. If the roles were reversed and it was guys doing that you would think the world was coming to an end by the time the US media finished playing it out.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

I remember this crazy old posh Englishwoman bringing back a Masai warrior fron Kenya - Odinga Obama or something

They shacked up in an apartment in Slough and he wore a leopard skin loin cloth and had a bloody great spear

She was married at the time too

They got divorced eventually and he went back to look after his cattle

That ol gal was getting her freak on for sure. She was probably the envy of most every woman within a mile.

I lived in Bangkok for 3 years and never met one person that wanted to move to the U.S. Bargirl, hooker, businessmen, whatever. I think I can count on one hand people that even wanted to visit here. I guess they're out there, but I never met them.

I know of plenty that would go for the K visa or whatever, continuously sucking money out of the foreigner, and then bailing right before the interview. I also know of alot of girls that had 3,4,5 foreign boyfriends/benefactors in multiple different western countries sending emails and phone calls with sob stories to get money wired to them.

The scams I have seen on VJ is when the beneficiary had a reason to come here. Boyfriend/Girlfriend from back home they wanted to hook up with etc. I also think there are some paid marriages to get relatives here. Aunts, Uncles, Cousins etc.

It's pretty obvious by that post of yours that you failed to read much of this thread if any.

No, I read it all. I was being just a touch facetious, darling.star_smile.gif

Honest question. Would you hold it against a group of older American women if they took one of those sex trips to Africa to get it on with a guy 30+ years younger than them? And in the same sense would you hold it against American men if the roles were reversed...as in men took that same trip in order to get it on with gals 30+ years younger than them.

Women are being presented as goods for purchase.

Really? Does it say somewhere there that you will actually OWN them, that they will be your slaves? And even if it did do you think there are many people who don't know that has been illegal here for 150 years? :bonk:

What it does clearly imply is that you are purchasing the services of a marriage broker. This is quite legal and even quite successful for many happy couples!

Honest answer: I don't care what others do with their own sex/romantic lives. What I do care about is people holding out their relationship as the ne plus ultra of relationship styles. What is suitable for one may not be suitable for another. It gets tiring seeing either gender trying to one-up each other with regards to relationships. Are you happy? Cool. What the age differential is does not signify. What I choose for myself -- my BF is 8 days older than me, and I tend to have had more successful relationships with men close to my age -- is not necessarily right for everyone else. :)

But, did you spend anytime with any good Thai girls, outside the sex clubs and bars? Working anywhere even close to the sex trade will get you banned from obtaining a visa to the US.

You've come a long way since the days of you and the rest of that pack of shewolves were terrorizing the RUB forum with your feminazi propaganda. :)
